The transformed facade(s) of a 1930’s wood- frame house in Queens, NY. Once in the Italianate style with a porch, the main facade was later stripped of all detail and covered in stucco. KA set out to return the facade to its former glory while modernizing the building with new windows, technical layers and siding.

The fully restored rear facade of our recently completed Park Slope project. The original brick features segmental arches and a dogtooth cornice. A new steel deck connects the parlor floor to the outdoors and an enlarged window opening at the kitchen provides expanded views to the yard.

A labor of love, the fully restored 1889 Neo-Grec townhouse in Park Slope, Brooklyn. This is one of three sister houses by William Hawkins. The facade has Romanesque Revival style details, a classic entry surround, and a bracketed wood cornice. Super proud to have been a part of this project and to have worked with such great people.
