We are consistently framing and reframing the human experience by exploring the space of memory, presence and imagination as seen through the lens of theatrical performance. This approach involves a close reading of the theoretical space between imagination and reality, the performer and the spectator, the individual and the community – “the in-between space.”
As a research-based company, we believe in process over product. The means by which we create an understanding of this “in-between space” involves a re-construction of performance and spatial theory as it applies to daily life. In a laboratory-style process, we are guided to discoveries that influence the individual and reinforce the impact of performance on community and social ideology. Our aim is to guide others through a process of individual and communal discovery, empowering participants through creative workshops that examine the human being’s relationship to the other. Through this approach, we believe there is a potential for positive change.
