If you are traveling to France this summer and plan to bring back some souvenirs—all you need to do is stop at a super marche or a monoprix for a huge selection of local foods like chocolate, olive oil, salt, potato chips, Dijon mustard, or pretty jars or duralex glassware...all made in France! Having a towering limelight hydrangea tree in the backyard just begs to fill the house with them. I certainly have enough to make big arrangements, but it’s filling these vintage crocks from France that I love the most. Japanese Kenzan help keep them steady since they are pretty top heavy. The little pins are perfect for holding a woody stem. Give each stem a fresh cut and dip into alum and they will last much longer. You can find alum in the spice section at the grocery store.

We could not be more thrilled to announce the marriage of our daughter, Madeline Diamond, to Rohit Baskar on July 16th at City Hall in New York City! It was the most perfect day — afterward, we all walked over to The Odeon for a celebratory lunch. Now we can't wait for their formal wedding this October! 💍✨
