Tennis season in Queens always feels a little personal to us. Navillus performed the masonry at Arthur Ashe Stadium at the USTA National Tennis Center, installing nearly a million blocks and 300,000 square feet of brick with a crew of more than 150 masons and laborers. This year, Navillus is awarding $36,000 in scholarships, providing six students with $6,000 each toward their college education.

Fergus Farrell was once told he may never walk again after an injury. He is now taking on a cross-country journey across America.

He is off.

This morning Fergus Farrell left the Brooklyn Bridge on foot, bound for Santa Monica Pier. 4,500 kilometers ahead of him.

Walk well, Fergus. We will be watching from the New York side.

Over 1,500 plants and trees planted by Navillus now surround Gowanus Houses in Brooklyn, joining the green roof and boiler system replacements our team completed on this NYCHA campus. As the general contractor, Navillus delivered extensive site resiliency improvements, including new landscaping, stormwater management infrastructure, walkways, and other site enhancements designed to create a more sustainable and resilient community. Construction is about more than concrete and steel. It's about making neighborhoods better places to live. 🌳

Navillus worked on the rehabilitation of the Brooklyn Bridge.

On August 22, Fergus Farrell begins his walk across America from that same bridge, after years of rehabilitation of his own.

4,500 kilometers. Brooklyn Bridge to Santa Monica Pier.

Crane day > every other day. 🏗️

Precision is everything when lifting equipment hundreds of feet in the air. At HS M533, a crane was used to place rooftop mechanical units for the new school addition.

Navillus is serving as the general contractor for the project, delivering a new addition featuring a pool, gymnatorium, green roof, modern classrooms, and supporting infrastructure.

Every lift is the result of meticulous planning, seamless coordination, and a team committed to safety from the ground to the rooftop.

On August 22, Fergus Farrell will set out from the Brooklyn Bridge and begin walking to the Pacific Ocean.

4,500 kilometers, roughly 2,800 miles. 75 days. 60 kilometers a day.

In 2018, Fergus sustained a spinal cord injury and was told he had a five percent chance of walking again. Spinal Injuries Ireland has supported people in that position, and their families, since 1994.

Navillus is proud to support Walk With Fergus. Our roots run back to Ireland, and so do theirs.

Our team at Long Island City has successfully installed the inaugural precast panel at PS 341Q, a newly established public school designed to benefit families in Queens for years to come. Navillus is serving as the general contractor for the ground-up construction of the new school. The sight of a school being built is always inspiring, and we look forward to achieving many more milestones ahead.

Through the Irish American Partnership, Navillus supports organizations across Ireland serving individuals and families living with special needs. These organizations provide services, opportunities, and everyday support that make a real difference to the families who depend on them.

The Partnership has invested in education and community development across Ireland for decades, and we have been proud to support dozens of its programs.

Ireland gave this company its start. Giving back there is not charity. It is family.
