Shades Dance Company To dance is like to free ones soul. To release a breath long held suffocated by the conforms of society. We dance to be ourselves.

Shades Dance Company was created by two college students on December 17th 2011-but not initiated until June 1st 2012-intending to tell a story through the universal language of soulful movements. "To watch us dance is to hear our hearts speak"...

Shades intends to correct the much lacking respect for dancers all around the world to further etch our footprints on the floors of every industry. SDC

hopes to redefine the meaning of the word dance and its relation to other art forms through its management of todays dancers, creative direction, classes, and events. SDC represent as well as train dancers in diffferent dance forms promoting their talents with a variety of inclusive techniques including tap, ballet, modern, hip-hop, house, break, popping, african, as well as international dance forms including belly dancing, latin dancing, traditional indian dancing etc.
