Growing up in Egypt, where food is the heartbeat of daily life, I found my passion for cooking early on. Sneaking into the kitchen as a child, I loved experimenting with ingredients and flavors, finding happiness in uniting people through meals.

As time passed, my love for cooking deepened. I became the „Family Chef,“ joyously preparing meals for gatherings and celebrations. Those days in the kitchen, surrounded by family and the scent of good food, are among my cherished memories.

It was later in life that I decided to turn this passion into a venture. Driven by my childhood experiences and the pleasure of communal meals, I started Basil and Pine. 🌿

Our goal is to create unforgettable dining experiences that bring people together. Crafted with love and care, our food—from savory delights to sweet treats—aims to please the senses and create lasting bonds.
