Today Pop took me on a field trip to what he said was a cookie and slab store Niceville Slabs and Cookies which sounded super delicious, so I was all in! Then I remembered that it’s the name of the lumber store in our town, which is just hateful to my taste buds! But it WAS pretty cool seeing the gorgeous slabs of wood in their raw and slightly finished states, and even as “cookies”. Here are some beautiful finished pieces that Pops did from some of that wood, and some fun pics from our not delicious, but fun cookie trip. 🪵🪾🪵
