I love variety. It keeps my job fun. But I also have favorites. This is one of them. Enjoy the pics🤌🏼. Feel free to zoom in on the cuts. Caulk and paint haven’t been applied yet (also to be done by the painters, not me) so you have full transparency of quality and accurate cuts. Project complete. 1500 sq ft of LVP (Home Decorators Collection - Lone Mountain) and quarter round. I think it’s pretty cool having the same floor through the whole house without a transition anywhere. Looks good, clean, and fresh! Sometimes, getting rid of popcorn ceiling doesn’t mean scraping it. Sometimes it can just be covered up! That’s how this client wanted it, and they chose some nice African Limba for the faux beams. Love the look! Mix coastal cottage and rustic I think. The Limba was scourced from Jubilee Specialty Woods. Nice little kitchen update! Replaced the countertops with Birch butcher block, painted the cabinets SW Emerald Semi-Gloss “Cityscape”. Modified a base cabinet to handle a slide out trashcan Rev-A-Shelf. Added a nice backsplash - tile from Hoods in Foley. The client replaced handles and a new stove. PS - per the usual, there are some finishing details the client is doing himself i.e. outlets drywall patching…

Drop in bathtubs are my new favorite bathtubs as an installer. I love the freedom the customer has to design the surround as well. The old whirlpool bath tub had to be broken to get it out. It was so heavy! Tub from Lowe’s, faucet from Home Depot, tile from Floor and Decor, backsplash repurposed from old tub. If you have questions for DIY, hit me up! Or direct message me if you’d like help on your own project. (PS: the wet ring around the back splash is from the soap water to tool the caulk. When dry it will all look the same!)

Another shower project done with my favorite shower door: Dreamline Enigma Air. I also love the floor’s gradient from light to dark. All tile and door materials came from Floor and Decor. Send me a DM if you have questions for diy or if you want help on a project! (Obviously there are some cosmetic things needing done in the bathroom but the client is doing their own projects. I was just hired for the shower)

Another piano project compete. This one was personal. Kawai CE-7 gutted and repurposed as a shell to hold my keyboard. For the shelf I utilized the piano cover that went over the original key bed, increasing the cool factor by using all original pieces and parts (sans a few screws and hidden brackets to strengthen the shelf).

There was a massive amount of paint correction/restoration because the animals at the retirement community where it came from liked to mark it. ….for years. Talk about a gross mess. One of the pics shows an example of that. I kept the larger “character” scratches and wear though.

It’s been a while since I’ve done a woodworking project. This is more of a repurpose project but definitely required some time! Take a piano, gut it, modify it, refinish it (I just chose piano black but could have left original or literally any other color), and call it a “Shell”.

This is just a great tool to take an electric piano, and make it look like an acoustic by setting it inside! Churches use them, bands on tour, and you can even use it in your house if you like the setup. Third pic is an example.

These have only minor modifications done, but for those who want an elaborate setup inside the case for laptops or a second piano or other hardware, all that is possible with a little bit more time and cost. I left the sheet music part for those who use iPads and such as musical directors (MD) at church or tour.

A great upgrade to your home that can help resolve several access issues is a barn door. Here are a few that I’ve done recently. Honestly… I love them. The wood doors came from Charles Phillips Antiques and Architecturals if you’re interested in similar.
