Getting out there and meeting the people we want to work with.

Today I stopped by 10 local open houses to introduce myself to real estate agents, hand out a few brochures, and start building relationships with the people who are often the first to see a home that needs some work.

A couple agents even mentioned they’ve never had a contractor stop by an open house to introduce themselves, which was pretty cool to hear especially since that was exactly the idea behind doing this.

Just putting ourselves out there, making connections, and letting local agents know that RAM Construction Services is here when their clients need a contractor they can trust.

What started as a loose deck railing turned into a much bigger structural repair.

While investigating the railing and opening up the deck structure, we discovered significant rot and water damage in the existing doubled TJI joists. The damage was extensive enough that the compromised framing needed to be removed and replaced.

We carefully removed the damaged framing while taking care not to damage the waterproofing membrane below the decking, then installed a new glulam beam to provide the structural support the deck needed.

Projects like this are a good reminder that what looks like a simple repair on the surface can sometimes uncover much bigger issues underneath. Taking the time to investigate the cause and properly address the underlying problems is important for both safety and long-term durability.

🔥 Full interior refresh on this one.

The goal was to update the space without a full gut. My client wanted to bring everything up to date, brighten it up, and make it feel like a completely new home.

We took care of:
✔️ Cabinet refinish + added soft-close doors & slides
✔️ New kitchen flooring
✔️ Backsplash install
✔️ Full interior paint throughout
✔️ Added can lighting in kitchen, living, dining, and bedrooms

Huge difference in how this place looks and feels now.

Progress on this project 👇

• Cabinet refinish underway in the kitchen thanks to 253 Painters
• Added recessed lighting in the master bedroom, guest room, dining room, and living room

These rooms previously had little to no overhead lighting, so adding can lights is going to make a huge difference in how the space feels and functions. Big shoutout to Lightsmith Electric for knocking this out so cleanly.

Hidden damage like this is exactly why water leaks should never be ignored. 🚨

This project started with getting a call about a soft spot in the floor. An old water heater leak that had been slowly causing serious rot under the floor and behind the wall. Once we opened it up, the framing and subfloor needed major repair before we could rebuild it the right way.

We removed all the damaged material, repaired the structure, and got everything solid and ready for the new shower, toilet and flooring 💪

If you’ve got water damage, soft floors, or something that just doesn’t feel right, it’s worth taking a look before it turns into something bigger.

This flood left the homeowners without heat and hot water, a tough situation especially this time of year.

After the initial water removal and demo were handled, we stepped in to replace the damaged mechanical systems. Within one week, the home had heat and hot water restored, with the final piece of heat brought back online on Christmas Eve.

✔️ New furnace installed - huge thanks to Snoqualmie Valley Mechanical for the quick response.
✔️ New water heater installed - shout out to Noble Plumbing for jumping on this so quick.
✔️ Systems tested and back online

When critical systems go down, timing matters. Our priority is getting homes safe, functional, and comfortable again as quickly as possible — even during the holidays.
