Things are looking good in downtown N'ton. This is a very good year for annuals. They are thriving everywhere. Time to take some photos.

Changing out the Pansies @ Urban Outfitters today or tomorrow. The monochromatic peach last year was fantastic. New coplor scheme this year though. Peach and purple as requested. Can't wait to see how it develops.

Working @ the Hotel Northampton today ... Finally the weather is cooperating and we will get a lot done by tomorrow. I love working there. It is such work in process and watching it develop is one of my favorite horticultural experiences.

HERE'S A GARDENING TIP ... if you see ice forming on your
Hostas or other large leafed plants turn on the sprinkler. Cold
water is warmer than ice droplets. Definitely reduces the damage. 26
degrees here in Hatfield @ 6:00 AM. Not good for tender young
plants. It's been a tough morning.

OH NO!!! 28 degrees on Monday night. I'm in BIG trouble. Let's hope it's warmer than that in downtown N'ton.
