Friends - In the last couple months we have seen several serious/fatal carbon monoxide poisoning cases in homes in our area. Please remind your family and friends that your heating system vents through a flue just like your wood stove and fireplace. These flues need to be swept and inspected on a regular basis. A blocked or deteriorated flue can cause a back up of carbon monoxide into your home. This is disastrous ! Please don't overlook this crucial home maintenance!
