Rooted in his Catholic upbringing at Shrine, he’s always lived by “treat thy neighbor as thyself.” That value has guided Tresnak Roofing for 40+ years and it’s not going anywhere.

Don’t worry about him retiring his daughters (who also grew up in Catholic school) are here to carry his legacy forward for the next generation.

When my dad graduated college, he dreamed of becoming a real estate mogul. But interest rates were 17%, and selling was nearly impossible. So he pivoted leaning into what he knew best: hard work, hustle, and getting his hands dirty. That shift turned into the foundation of a successful roofing business.

Life has a way of changing your path and sometimes, it leads you exactly where you're meant to be.

Decades later, another big shift—Covid—changed everything again. It brought his three daughters into the business, and now we’re building the future of Tresnak Roofing together.

Dreams don’t always show up the way you expect them to. But with grit, flexibility, and a little hustle, they do come true.

For over 40 years, Tresnak Roofing has been proud to call Royal Oak home.

Tom and Suzie, our founders, were both born and raised here and so were we. My sisters and I actually grew up in the same house our mom Suzie did as a kid. Our Royal Oak roots run deep.

That’s why serving this community means so much to us. When we pull up to do an inspection at a house we once delivered the Daily Tribune to, or the one where we used to play capture the flag in the backyard, it’s more than just a job. It’s coming home.
