When we started Buck Electric in 1977, we didn't know that one day we would be expanding to including a store front that has just about everything that you need. At the time, we just focused on providing quality workmanship, customer satisfacti

Graduation always makes us reflect on our own youth...so many years ago!

Many of us here are Hyaks through and through, having benefitted from growing up in such a loving, generous community that helped shape our formative years.

Not the least of which is our leader, who continues to find ways to support and encourage Hyaks both past and present. 😁 He is pictured here awarding a $6,000 scholarship to Graduating Senior George Harmon of the Class of 2026.

Thank you for coming to our All American Hot Dog event after the parade today! It was such beautiful weather and we LOVED seeing everyone all dressed in their stars and stripes, red, white and blue!

Our brand new Photo Op got some use today, too! Our crew took a much deserved break in the chair when the crowds had dispersed.

The time-honored Ocean Shores Flag Day Parade is tomorrow!

We are cleaning up the Big Bucky truck and loading the cab with candy for throwing...will you be there?

Congratulations to George, who won our 2026 Buck Electric Ace Hardware Scholarship in the amount of $6,000! Your generous donations, matched by Buck Electric, Inc have made this possible. Thank you!

George plans to attend Washington State University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He was inspired by his father's service working on helicopters in the Army, and will join NROTC for a future career in the Navy.

George is graduating from both North Beach High School and Grays Harbor College this month, having earned his AA via Running Start. He was highly recognized at the scholarship and awards luncheon, and is loved by both staff and his fellow students. He cites his participation in sports for the leadership skills and work ethic that he possesses. He excelled in Wrestling, Football, Powerlifting, and Track & Field...all while participating in Band.

Best wishes for a successful life ahead, George!

Nadia came in to the store yesterday and was so jealous of everyone's tiaras for International Tiara Day! She went right home, put on her royal garments and came back to show us who the REAL VIP is!

She was, of course, rewarded with many treats and much love from our staff, her royal subjects. 😁😁
