Since 2011, I have assisted thousands of seniors and their families with Aging in Place, Senior Living, Senior Citizen Services, and Nursing Care placement. Growing up in Indiana, I spent most of my weekends and summer breaks with my grandparents & great grandparents where I experienced the aging process firsthand. I would later become a family caregiver for
14 years and develop an extraordinary bond with my great grandmother. My professional experience includes Director of Admissions/Marketing for Independent Living/Active 55+, Assisted Living, Homecare, Home Health, Hospice, and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Other notable endeavors include teaching technology classes to seniors, and bingo calling. I also enjoy giving back to the local community and have volunteered at many senior centers, planning, and fundraising committees. After nearly 10 years of working in corporate America, along with some soul searching, I decided a change in my life was needed. What I found was that I really wanted to advocate, physically assist, coach families, and do what was in the best interest of my clients. So, I resigned from my overly aggressive and stressful sales job, and founded Southern Hospitality Senior Solutions. Southern Hospitality Senior Solutions helps seniors age safely and comfortably at home by providing Bathroom Safety Solutions, Handyman Services, Mobile Notary, and Senior Care Consultation in parts of Florida including Lake, Sumter, Citrus, and Marion County. We advocate for older adults and their families with hands-on support and resources to enrich quality of life while strengthening our local community.
