See what we’ve been working on this past year ✨🌱

We started with a pretty blank slate — especially after construction on the garage left our yard a total mess.

A labor of love from the whole family, for sure! From designing to building to watering and weeding every morning with mom… we really do use the heck out of our yard now!

So much more work to be done, but I’m glad we can see the value and use of the space even while it’s in progress. One thing you won’t find me doing? Rushing a project to the finish line just for the sake of finishing it. The process is the fun part!

Raise your hand if you’re SO tired 🙋‍♀️

I was so blissfully unaware how hard motherhood would be. It’s the most exhausting job I’ve ever had. But thankfully it’s incredibly gratifying!

If you’re a mom out there thriving and surviving at the same time - I see you 😅

Filled our raised beds the smart way 🌱

Instead of spending a fortune on soil, we layered:
• yard waste (leaves + sticks)
• bulk garden soil
• and finished with a high-quality raised bed mix

That top layer is what your plants actually grow in—don’t skip it.

I grabbed mine during SpringFest at Lowe’s (so many good deals right now 👀) and linked everything I used in my bio.
