For all the DIYers who know just enough to be dangerous--WHEN your home insurance, warranty repair company, city authority or the fire marshall finds out, it won't end well, especially if your installs are illegal. And trying to force a contractor to go along with your illegal installs will Not help your case. Yes, you saved money doing it yourself--now the time to make it Correct & Safe and all that $ just made it worse.

Beyond is more than the obvious areas such as Yukon, Mustang, Norman, Edmond and Midwest City.

I'm not afraid of venturing further out to help further out in the state. I've worked in Lawton, Ardmore, Ada, Chandler, Tryon, Cushing, Guthrie, Waukomis and many places in between, Pauls Valley, Chickasha, Hennessey, Shawnee, Choctaw, Seminole, Verden, Guthrie, Wellston, Jones, Spencer, Blanchard, Davis, Carnegie, Wewoka and Counting.

It's been a privilege going across the state, seeing beautiful sights, meeting Wonderful people and Eliminating Electrical Evil statewide.

One of the consistent things I hear is, "No one wants to work out here." Well, I'm willing. Give me a try.

Smelling burning plastic?

This Electrical Evil could be residing in your electrical panel! A burning panel bus can be dangerous as it can burn away silently--Until it makes it's presence known. Burned wires are also a symptom inside the panel but if the Feeder wires from the meter side become burned or damaged, could be an even more costly repair.

Those with modern panel brands may have interchangeable panel parts, if you have Federal Pacific, Zinsco or Pushmatic, you're basically out of time.

Use only Licensed, Qualified People. Ask to see their state license. I show mine upon meeting, get it right out of the way. People tell me it puts them at ease because they feel awkward asking. Part of the job is to put your clients at ease, it's alot of trust invested and I don't take it lightly.

A late afternoon call... Soon as I got to the backyard, just started seeing No Nos... Last electrician used EMT with a regular connector--used threadlocker though 😤--then used a mast-mount wire-holder on said EMT. Suprised the mast made it so long.

Anyway, used a 1-1/2" rigid conduit to have the strength needed for a mast-mount wireholder and to get the utility line higher above the ground. Also used new copper wire and a new mast head. However, the client had some tree limbs restaining the utility line to get closer. That's why the wires reach so far. Most importantly, the client was able to have power restored after going overnight with no power. Wished I could've known earlier.
