We took the extra time to route the new circuit through the home and wall so there was no exposed conduit running across the exterior brick and no unnecessary damage inside.

This week’s Oklahoma heat has been brutal, and I knew I didn’t want this tenant to go another night without AC.

After the recent storms, the overhead riser and meter base on this home were damaged and the power needed to be restored quickly. Thankfully, the landlord called me today, and I was able to get out there, make the repair, and get the power back on before another hot evening set in.

Moments like this are a reminder that electrical work is about more than equipment — it’s about taking care of people and helping families get back to normal as quickly and safely as possible.

The permit has been purchased, and the inspection is already scheduled for tomorrow.

I’m thankful I could help get this one taken care of today.

As Memorial Day approaches, I’m looking forward to slowing down, refilling my cup, and spending time with family and loved ones.

This time of year always reminds me to be thankful — not only for the people standing beside me today, but also for the experiences, mentors, friendships, and sacrifices that have helped shape my life to this point.

As a veteran, Memorial Day carries a deep meaning. It is a time to remember and honor the men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we get to enjoy weekends like this with the people we love most.
