Most people are surprised to learn that one of the more common indoor air concerns is something you'll never see or smell. Radon is a naturally occurring gas that moves up through the soil and into homes. Levels vary quite a bit from one property to the next, even between neighbors.
The EPA lists Radon as the leading cause of lung cancer for non-smokers and the second leading cause of lung cancer for the general population. It's common across Middle Tennessee, and the only way to know your level is to test.
The good news: when a test comes back elevated, those levels can be effectively reduced with the right system. If you've never tested, it's a simple place to start. Give us a call and we'll walk you through it.
