We're spent today in Elizabethtown removing a large hackberry tree that fell on an enclosed trailer, everything needed to be cleaned up before this weekend, the E town tap, which is where the tree was is having vendors coming out to set up for Saturday. So we did what we do best. We got the job done.

This Maple tree was a codominant tree, meaning it had more than one main stem with inclusive bark. That means that the tree only grows and pushes apart from one another. This is the cause of 80% of tree failures. When this one came over during the storm, it broke a 3 phase utility pole and pulled 2 other poles over causing a power outage. We removed 8 trees, trimmed 11, ground all the stumps and removed all the debris
This great, big, sweet gum was hollow all the way to the top.

We're going to be grinding stumps today, on a fairly large project. However this pine tree grew around this steel sucker rod. Good thing we have a solution for that. 🤣🤣🤣

We are back to working 7 days a week so the posts are gonna come in spirits. This is from two weeks ago and it was a 2 tight Tuesday. Ridgeway, Illinois has been showing me a lot of love lately. I got called in for 1 job and picked up 4 jobs, before left.

We were supposed to be hunting eggs... instead, the boys decided to show their roots, and drag brush and climb trees instead.

The soft ground wasn't that big of a deal today
We removed a Magnolia tree and ground the stump.

We help out the communities that help us. Today we gave back to Eldorado by cleaning up brush from a vacant lot and topping trees along an alleyway. We were able to haul away 3 full loads of brush and wood. We conveniently had a job right next door that we were able to take care of as well.

We got the last 2 jobs in Cave In Rock and Elizabethtown knocked out today. We are already scheduled to go back in the fall. If anyone else down there needs any tree work done please let us know.
