Great seeing so many friends and thank you to all those attending the Omaha Lawn Flower & Patio Show! There were excellent displays at one of the most beautiful shows. The judging was close with the Watkins "Best Landscape" awarded to Jensen Gardens, First Place and Ground Builders, Second Place. The Container Showdown People’s Choice vote was close with Sam Raine of Ground Builders just nudging the Yard Market team. Then Brandy Eccles of Eden Artistry voted over Elizabeth of Pots by Elizabeth with an auction donation of the containers to the Nebraska Humane Society. They enjoyed "Fire & Water Garden" sponsored by MUD, and Mike’l Severe and Mayor Ewing with Leo the capybara from Scatter Joy Acres predicting 6 more weeks of winter. Exciting News! a SPECIAL ACTIVITY this Saturday at this year's OMAHA LAWN FLOWER & PATIO SHOW to be held Friday, January 30 through Sunday, February 1 at the CHI Health Center. Scatter Joy Acres will host an OMAHA GROUNDHOG DAY EVENT on the Show's Rotella Stage, Saturday, January 31 at 2:00pm.
