CSTM works closely with many area contractors and has established a network with them to do things only one way – The Right Way. To do a job "The Right Way" it must be done thoroughly. CSTM knows that a leak occurs not just because of poor or damaged shingling, but also through worn out underlayment and/or flashings. It is necessary to replace all material on a roof to contain a leak, not just the
shingles. Not all homeowners are aware of this and may have a job done with new shingles, only to have the problem occur again because the underlayment was not installed properly, were damaged during the work, or the flashings have not been replaced. Most roofs look good from the ground. We encourage our customers to come up to look and see the damage that is on their roof/gutter systems. If a homeowner is not comfortable climbing ladders, we take pictures to show the homeowner just what and where the damage is.
