With heavy rain expected throughout the week and the potential for flooding beginning as early as 10:00 AM today, now is a great time to prepare.

Take a few minutes to:
💧 Check your basement for any signs of water.
💧 Make sure your sump pump is working properly.
💧 Clear debris from drains and downspouts if it’s safe to do so.
💧 Keep an eye on areas around your home that are prone to flooding.

A little preparation now can help prevent bigger problems later.

The last few days have been incredibly difficult for many families in Osceola Mills, Philipsburg, Houtzdale, Tyrone, and surrounding communities. What started as heavy rain quickly turned into flooded basements, damaged homes, and overwhelming uncertainty for many of our neighbors.

This one hits close to home for us. Several of our own family members have been affected by the flooding, and we’ve seen firsthand the stress, heartbreak, and financial burden it can cause. Many people didn’t have flood insurance because they weren’t in a flood zone or had never experienced flooding before. Now they’re left trying to figure out what comes next.

As a local family-owned business, we believe neighbors help neighbors when times get tough. That’s why McLachlan’s LLC is offering 15% off flood-related HVAC services for those impacted by the recent flooding.

If your furnace, air conditioner, heat pump, mini-split, or other HVAC equipment has been exposed to water, please don’t turn it on until it has been inspected. Water damage can create safety hazards and cause further damage to your system.

🌧️ With the heavy rain already here and flash flood warnings in effect, now is a good time to check your basement for any signs of water.

If you have a sump pump, make sure it’s running properly and keeping up with the incoming water. A working sump pump can make all the difference when the ground becomes saturated.

Keep an eye on low-lying areas around your home and avoid driving through flooded roadways. Just a few inches of moving water can be dangerous.

🇺🇸 Holiday Notice 🇺🇸

McLachlan’s LLC will be unavailable beginning today, July 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM through July 4th as we spend time with our families and celebrate the holiday.
