Today I submitted my candidacy to run on the Republican ballot for the Sheriff of Pike County. Being a life long resident of Pike County I realized early on that I wanted to be a Sheriff’s deputy. I attended Vincennes University and have a degree in law enforcement.
After College I began my career at the Daviess County Sheriff’s office where I served as a jailer for 3 years. I began my police career at Washington PD and quickly rose to the rank of Sergeant. Following my heart, I jumped at the opportunity to return to Pike County. I began my career at the Pike County Sheriff’s office and have worked tirelessly giving back to the community that I love so deeply.
Since working for the sheriffs office, I became the departments first ever K9 handler and was instrumental in the building of the program. I have served in the role of sergeant supervisor and most recently transitioned to Pike Central High School as the school resource officer. During my 15 year career in law enforcement I have strived to develop relationships with the people of Pike County that I proudly serve.
If elected Sheriff I will bring with me a strong work ethic, years of experience, intentional leadership, and most importantly a deep commitment to the relationship between the citizens of Pike County and Sheriff’s Office.
I am humbly asking for your support for Sheriff on May 5.
