Another “Well… that was unexpected” moment.

I pulled up to the security gate of a community this week.

The guard looked at me…

Looked at the trailer…

Then smiled and said,

“Oh… it’s YOU!”

I’m thinking…

“Uh oh… what did I do?” 😳

Then he says,

“My wife sent me a picture of your trailer and told me, ‘If you ever see this guy, get his number. We need him at our house.’”

Turns out…

He wasn’t checking me in.

He was checking me out… as his future handyman. 😂

I guess the trailer is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.

So… this happened today. 😂

I was driving through a neighborhood to meet a customer when I noticed a guy following me…

…on a golf cart.

Naturally, my first thought was:

“Great… he’s about to tell me I can’t park this beast here.” 😬

I parked the trailer.

He pulled up.

Instead of giving me a hard time, he smiled and said:

“I recognized your trailer. I’ve seen your branding around, and I wanted to catch you before you left. I need some work done at my house.”

I have to admit… I didn’t see that one coming.

It was a great reminder that good branding isn’t just about having a nice logo. It’s about being memorable.

Every wrap, every social media post, every yard sign, every happy customer, and every referral builds recognition. Sometimes, it even gets you chased down by a guy in a golf cart. 😂

Believe it or not, the walls and ceiling are the exact same paint color.

Pulled an old toilet today to install a new one-piece Toto.

What did we find underneath?

Not a wax ring.

Not a seal.

A whole ecosystem.

Apparently this toilet had been leaking long enough to start its own national park.

This is why toilet leaks matter. A failed wax seal can hide damage, odors, bacteria, and moisture under the toilet where you don’t see it until it gets pulled.

New toilet installed. Old forest removed.

Sometimes the best tool on the job isn’t a drill…

It’s the one that keeps the truck running.

We’ve been so busy helping customers lately that I didn’t have time to replace the battery in my Ram 2500.

For several days, every stop looked the same…

Attempt to start the truck.

Get out.
