Northampton Apartments: Rebuilding from the Ground Up

There’s a lot of progress happening at Northampton Apartments in Largo! After a tragic fire destroyed the apartment building a couple of years ago, Complete Conversions stepped in to take on the challenge of a complete ground-up rebuild. What was once a devastating loss is now taking shape as a brand-new community.

Our team has been hard at work bringing the new building to life, and we’re excited to see the project moving closer to the finish line. The rebuild is expected to be completed this fall, marking an important new chapter for Northampton Apartments and its residents.

HOLY MOLY, DAVE IS 50! 🎉

Today we celebrated Dave’s big 5-0 the only way we know how: we decorated his office, put up a banner, and then made him work a full day anyway. 😂

The original banner may or may not have said something a little more colorful than “Holy Moly, You’re 50.” But since this is social media, we made a few… editorial corrections.

This Mount Vernon office started with dark, cramped spaces, aging finishes, and a floor plan that didn't fit modern living. As you swipe, you'll see the transformation unfold from demolition and construction to the moment those original hardwood floors were brought back to life.

Our team completely reimagined the space by:
• Opening up the layout and creating brighter, more functional living areas
• Converting storage rooms into full bathrooms
• Building five new bedroom closets
• Installing a brand-new shaker kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances
• Updating electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and laundry throughout
• Refinishing the original hardwood floors to preserve the building's historic character

The finished result is a home that honors its history while delivering the comfort and functionality today's residents expect.

Another transformation complete!

Our team recently partnered with Thorlabs Quantum Electronics to convert an open space into a fully customized, high-performance work environment.

This design-build project included the construction of a clean room, machine shop, bead blast area, support spaces, and interior offices, along with new HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, specialty ESD flooring, custom doors, lighting, fire protection, and high-performance finishes. From permitting and engineering to the final walkthrough, we managed every step of the process.

The result is a space designed to support precision manufacturing and innovation while meeting the unique needs of Thorlabs' operations.

In all seriousness, the smoky conditions are due to wildfire smoke affecting our area. If you're spending time outside today, take it easy and protect those lungs. Mother Nature has the smoke machine turned all the way up.
