Shop Local. Support Local. ❤️
Every time you choose to shop local, you’re investing in your community. Local businesses create jobs, support local organizations, sponsor events, and help keep our small towns thriving.
As construction projects continue around town, we know it can sometimes take a little extra effort to visit your favorite local businesses. We encourage everyone to remember that local shops are still open, still serving, and still counting on your support during these temporary inconveniences.
Your decision to shop local today helps ensure these businesses are here for years to come.
Thank you for supporting the people, families, and businesses that make our community special. We appreciate every visit, every purchase, and every recommendation.
We’re open, we’re here for you, and we’re grateful for your support! ❤️
🚧 Well… our asses are indeed being kicked.
I try not to be dramatic, but if I’m being honest, this construction has absolutely crushed us. Annnnd we’ve now been told there’s a good chance we have three more weeks of this.
Three.
More.
Weeks.
We’ve tried to laugh about it. We’ve tried to stay positive. We’ve tried to remind ourselves it’ll eventually be over. But the truth is that this s**t really sucks right now.
Mrs. Ohh’s is how we pay our bills. It’s how we feed our family. It’s what we’ve poured the last year and a half of our lives into building.
What makes this especially difficult is our commitment to baking fresh every single day. When foot traffic suddenly disappears, that means we’re throwing away or donating far more product than we’d ever like to.
At the same time, we’re honoring sponsorships, fundraisers, community events, and donations we committed to months ago. We’ll fulfill every promise we made, but I’d be lying if I said doing so right now wasn’t a little scary.
This really has gone beyond construction simply being inconvenient.
At times it has felt like access has been eliminated rather than inconvenienced. Visibility has been severely impacted, customers have struggled to find a way in, and when the ONE through access with a street sign pointing people to your business is literally laying on the ground…. it’s hard not to feel defeated.
The part that’s really messing with my head is that today was supposed to be an extra day for us. We had planned to open to make up for a closure last week, but after looking at the numbers, it honestly feels like it costs more to open right now than it does to stay closed. That’s a hard thing for a small business owner to admit.
So instead of opening today, we’re putting that time toward moving the expansion forward, catching up on projects that have been pushed aside during the chaos, and spending a little time with our family before diving back into another week of it all.
The crazy thing is we’re actually more excited than ever about the future.
We’re expanding.
We’re building the Ohh Block.
We have so many fun things coming.
But this current season is hard.
So if you’ve been meaning to stop by, place an order, buy a gift card, tell a friend, or simply share a post, we’d appreciate it more than you know.
Because despite what the construction zone may suggest…
We’re still here.
And we’re doing everything we can to make it through the next three weeks. ❤️

We’ll be here Wednesday–Friday 10am–6pm and Saturday 12pm–5pm for our Long Dogs & Dad Bods event, which I’m still incredibly excited about. 🍪🚧
