Working within a customer's budget to reclaim their backyard from brush and sweet gum saplings/trees. Will finish up tomorrow.

Incidentally, I recommend that clearing with a bucket and thumb be done as in here for sweet gums and Chinese privet hedge. If there is any life left in the roots, they will keep coming back. Pay for service that makes sure at least of a 90 percent success rate in removing invasive trees and brush. The highway side that was under contract is complete as of today. Total project complete. The K.C.S. rep caught me this morning and said they had me covered to work closer in for a few hours, so I was able to get everything I could knocked out like I wanted. 3 working days to cut on both sides of the tracks, and it was a mile long give or take a few feet.

The highway side in a progression of pictures. A k.c.s. rep stopped to talk to me. I have to maintain 25 feet from the tracks, and can't mow near the rock. I also have to stop when a train comes through. He said if the wrong person came through and caught me too close to the tracks that it would be a pretty hefty fine. Don't need that. I guess what I can't get due to being constrained by regulations will have to be poisoned by the town.

Working on another project for the city starting today. Cutting grass and brush back to make the town look better along the tracks where neither they nor the railroad workers can reach. Specializing in this type of work. The sewer pond levees are as complete as can be without damaging city equipment, or my equipment. The remainder is city worker responsibility with w**d eaters and a tractor with cutter. Shouldn't take them very long to knock it out, and they won't have to worry about falling into p**p water!
