I hope you enjoyed your 4th!! I did what I love! I wanted to piddle in the greenhouse Saturday morning! 💚 ❤️🤍💙

🤳🏽 White Sun — cleaned up the dead foliage and sprayed with . Something was nibbling on her (slugs probably). May need Insecticidal Super Soap, or a garlic vinegar diy spray . . . but will continue to monitor. 🧐

COVERED PATIO ENERGY

Since it's late April, we're right on the cusp of the first big wave!

LOVE BUG SZN typically peaks in May (and again in September), and while they don't bite or sting, they can definitely ruin a peaceful afternoon on the porch! 😑

I'm your "secret weapon" to keep the numbers down with DEBRIS MANAGEMENT, which the larva eggs love to hatch in. Love bugs also hate citrus. 🍋🍊 Planting a few pots of citrusy plants can act as a natural deterrent.

A few simple things YOU 🫵🏽 can do:
🪭 Use an electric fan outdoors! They are weak flyers and can't handle all that breeze.
🎨 Watch those colors! They are attracted to light colors and heat. Consider darker or neutral tones for your outdoor spaces, and your clothing.
