Not all pavers are the same.

On a recent project, two options for the same patio came in at nearly a 3x difference in material cost.

The difference wasn’t size or layout—it came down to the product itself.

Higher-end pavers are manufactured differently. They have better consistency, more refined finishes, and hold up better over time.

But more importantly, the way the patio is built underneath matters just as much as the material on top.

Base prep, drainage, and installation are what determine how a patio performs long-term.
