🦊 WHAT'S UNDERGROUND MATTERS.
Before a septic system can be properly designed, you need to know what you're working with—and that starts with the soil.
Septic soil testing helps determine how well the ground can accept and treat wastewater. Soil conditions can influence the type, size, location, and design of your septic system, making this one of the most important first steps when planning a new system.
At Slop Fox, we help take the guesswork out of the process.
✔ Evaluate soil conditions
✔ Identify potential site limitations
✔ Help determine suitable septic system options
✔ Plan for a system that fits your property
✔ Start your project on the right foundation
Whether you're building a new home, purchasing land, or planning a septic system, understanding your soil now can help prevent expensive surprises later.

No work today because it is Sunday Funday!

08/23/2026

Sunday Funday! 🐾🌲 Let's see your fury family members!!!

No work talk today—just sunshine, fresh air, dirty paws, and a couple of our favorite furry family members enjoying the Colorado outdoors.

Sometimes the best Sundays are the simple ones: get outside, slow things down, spend time with family, and let the dogs get absolutely filthy. 😂

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday and making a few memories along the way!

Happy Sunday from our Slop Fox family to yours! 🦊🐾

What a fun opportunity to install this system. Sometimes it can be difficult to stay on task with some cute little guys watching while trying to keep them safe along with your system.

We've got you covered!

SOILS TESTING

The first and most critical step of any septic installation.

Colorado has some of the most diverse soils types in the world. Knowing what soils are under the surface will determine the size, type and several other variables relating to your system.

Soils tests are required by the County health departments in Colorado prior to septic system design and permitting.

🎉🦊 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY PARTNER IN SLOP! 🦊🎉
Today we're taking a break from talking tanks, trenches, and turds to wish a very Happy Birthday to my Slop Fox business partner!
Building a business isn't easy, but having someone beside you who's willing to put in the long days, solve the problems, get dirty, and keep pushing forward makes one hell of a difference.
I'm grateful for the partnership, the friendship, and everything we're building together.
Here's to another year older, another year wiser, and hopefully a few less crappy situations… although, considering our line of work, that's probably not happening. 😂💩
Happy Birthday, brother! Here's to many more years of building Slop Fox together! 🍻
🦊 We are Slop Fox.

Going above and beyond isn't just a slogan at Slop Fox—it's how we do business.

After completing a new leach field installation, we noticed livestock would have easy access to the area. Rather than simply finishing the septic work and moving on, we installed T-posts and fencing to help protect the new system from unnecessary damage.

A leach field is a significant investment, and keeping animals off the area can help prevent soil compaction and extend the life of the system.

It's the small details that make a big difference.

At Slop Fox, we're committed to protecting your investment long after the excavation equipment leaves your property.

~The Slop Fox D Box~
The diverter box is a crucial piece of many septic systems. It allows effluent to be evenly dispersed in the leach field while also allowing for individual leach runs to be isolated if they need a break because you flushed too many times.

The Slop Fox takes a few extra steps when we install these.
We seal our gaskets with caulk and double layer our discharge piping to create better seals and make sure your slop makes it to the field where it belongs.

Give the Slop Fox a call today for all your septic needs!
