It was a hot one the last couple days but that didnt stop us from getting a existing overgrown landscape ready for a make over.
We removed the existing perennials & grasses and next week when it is cooler out we will be planting new plant material & restoring some of the bed back to lawn.
The new landscape will have plants that will provide color all season long as well as being drought resistant.

This weeks garden transformation.
The home owner was looking for some plants that were not only deer resistant and easy to care for but she also wanted to attract some Butterflies and Hummingbirds.
We planted some perennial purple Salvia and Nepeta along with pink Coneflowers and a dwarf pink Crape Myrtle.
Up against the foundation we have dwarf Baby Gem Boxwood along with some Feather Reed Grass.
On the corner is a dwarf Little Lime Hydrangea.
I only like to use plants that I have planted and have seen do well over my 35 plus years in the business.
