A roof is only as reliable as the details—and proper flashing makes all the difference.

On this porch roof, improper flashing behind the siding allowed water to reach the framing and decking, causing extensive rot, especially around the siding’s corner posts. Covering the damage wasn’t an option. This roof needed a complete rebuild. Everytime these other guys tie into the bottom coarse of siding we have to come re do it completely.

Here’s how Right Direction Contracting, LLC restored it:

✅ Removed all existing roofing down to the decking.
✅ Installed 12 new roof joists and all-new 3/4” CDX plywood decking.
✅ Installed a self-adhered base sheet across the entire roof, extending 8–10 inches up the bay.
✅ Installed a new white granulated cap sheet over the entire roof.
✅ Installed wall flashing behind the siding, with EternaBond at the terminations and custom-bent counterflashing.
✅ Finished with a new seamless gutter and downspout to complete the drainage system.

The details you don’t see matter just as much as the finished roof. We take the time to address the damage and get those details right.

Even roofs replaced not that long ago need attention. This property has been under renovation for a little while now, my client had this roof FULLY replaced with a two ply system that was never pitched properly. The last guy just slapped rubber around without thinking like water, we had to tear out all the floating edge metal, the improperly installed drainbox, install a new cricket with tapered insulation panels and install 2xs around the perimeter. After testing the slope we installed new self adheared base sheet then staggered the exisiting ply and installed a white granulated cap sheet with custom bent edge metal around the perimeter and we used our secret over top of our roofing cement to ensure premature cracking doesn’t happen leading up to our 3 year scheduled maintenance.

Not bad for a 12:00 o’clock start. Me and little bro pulled up to repair some soffit and flashings that the last guy destroyed when he put a roof on this place. We removed the pointless vinyl gutter he installed, installed new downspout, removed the bad wood they caused issues to cutting a drop tube through, replaced the 1x and added new crown molding. Then we removed sealed the entire roof as a bonus to our client.
Weather you have a full rebuild or a minor repair give us a call we’ll take care of you.

Refreshing! 💪

We removed all carpet and tack strips, stripped the stairs, and sealed the subfloor to help address pet urine odors before installing a v***r barrier and new Lifeproof flooring. New quarter round and refinished steps completed the transformation with a clean, finished look.

Quality work starts with proper preparation—and shows in the finished product.
