What a fantastic day putting the new tractor to work with back filling this swell line. Wrapped up a well line leaking into the house today! Hammered some steel pipe under the walk-way so we didn’t have to interrupt the cement walk way. Everything was piped in and tested. We bedded the pipe with screenings. We backfilled with removed earth. The customers were very happy with not having to turn the well pump on and off every time water is needed. Installed a new utility sink today for a customer. Cut out the cleanout, installed a new tee for drainage. Re-installed the cleanout. Opened up the soffit and installed both water lines. Lots of great work done yesterday! Upon arrival, the main shut off valve was broken and the water authority came out right away to exercise the curb stop and shut off the water to the house. Installed a new Lancaster Water Group Diamond XFactor water softener and cleaned up the water lines. Plumbed in the existing dual carbon tank in front of the softener to preserve the resin in the softener. Installed a new Liberty laundry pump, plumbed it to the outside for fresh air to stop the odor in their basement, and plumbed in the discharge line to the sewer. Repiped washing machine drain line.
