Another minimal FrankenKlein. The table is reclaimed castoff ash pieces. The base is made from an old kitchen table leg, some castoff pressure treated board pieces and a couple of oak castoffs. I love reusing parts from formerly important pieces of furniture to make something new and useful.

Another finished project. Small powder room with wall mounted, custom made curved sink. They wanted a vanity cabinet instead of their BB&B-type sundries holder. Vanity had to be white with some wall-matching blue-grey undertones.

The latest creations custom made for Jordan’s new apartment: a night stand made of cherry, poplar and walnut. The center triangle is a piece of walnut left over from our 1920 flooring in our house. For those of a certain age, the base post reminds me of childhood Neapolitan ice cream.
The matching TV table/shoe rack “frankenklein” (tm) made from repurposed parts of a pottery barn kids bookshelf, a 2x4 ripped into the legs, repurposed surplus cork flooring and leftover scraps of cherry, oak, poplar and walnut.

Just finished the install. Counter tops and mantle supports are reclaimed barn lumber to match reclaimed mantle.
Bottom of base cabinets have removable vents for baseboard heating.
Client is finishing the fireplace surround with stone and flagstone hearth.
