Predicament solved! I bet you wouldn't guess what the problem was. Yes it was 4pm on a Friday night and I left my gloves at home. No excuses but life is risky, I try my best to limit that risk.

UL and ETL listing accurate? Lets find out and see if they are doing the best job they can do! In my other video I received comments on why I think a heater would draw what the product listed stated. I wanted to prove that these rating can not be made up, and are tested to ensure they are accurate. In this process I found still more flaws in what they are allowing the USA to have and use. They are the ones in control of what products can be used and they need to ensure people will be able to use them in accordance with the nfpa 70. I'm on a mission to figure why they allow people to be able to make such poor decisions like my wife and me. We almost had a real problem but because of this video I found it early. Thankfully. Do better big business.

80% rule? 1500 watts on a 15 amp outlet! The 80 percent rule is just terrible. It is not the right way of thinking about electrical work. You need to be sizing your circuits based on the intended load, and not what size overcurrent protection you have. For electrical to be safe it has to start with the manufactures. If they make crap all we can do is install crap. It all has to start there. Then any good electrician will install there products as intended. No electrical issues. Crap product crap follows.
I provide this service at no cost to my customers. My only goal is to assure the safety and reliability of there electrical systems. Watch my other videos to learn more about what I do.

Preventative maintenance in 3 procedures! Check residential panels with predictive techniques!
I took the time to recreate and edit my previous video. I hope this is much more informative and entertaining. All of the information for predictive techniques come from the new nfpa 70b.
This standard applies to maintenance for electrical, electronic, and communications systems and equipment and is not intended to duplicate or supersede instructions provided by manufacturers. Systems and equipment covered are typical of those installed for industrial plants, institutional and commercial buildings, and large multifamily residential complexes. I think it is good I am apply it to my residential customers for there safety. It will also make there electrical systems extremely reliable. I am still working on making this maintenance streamlined and efficient. I believe I will soon make a check list for this work because of the complexity. I have done a ton of these and I'm still missing critical steps. I'm going to start tagging the condition of these panels also.

Let me know how I am doing below. I am here for a long time coming and want to become absolute in my trade. Please help get there.
Thanks for watching again. It helps if you watch till the end of the video.

Has your electrical panel been checked in the last 5 years? It needs to be! Join me in giving a in depth look into what should be completed every 5 years on the electrical panel. This job can only be completed by someone that has the experience of working in many panels over the years. The more experience one has in working with electrical equipment, the more future problems they can resolve before then. I have spent a lot of time doing as they call "dust and cleans" preventive maintenance on high voltage equipment. This work is now required by nec 70b. Here in pa maybe in a year or two. If you are not doing this type of work yet start now. Maintenance companies will be forming over this compliance and maybe you can start one. If not anything more maintenance positions at companies now. This work is critical for the safety of person and equipment.

Do you have a electrician in your family? Do you want them to preform all of your electrical work? Do you at least ask them how something looks after you do it? Not but least, do you listen when they tell you it's not right?
