The easy move would have been to just throw turf down and call it a day. 😄

We don’t do easy we do right. 💚

This backyard had brown walls, a brown house, and a tiny patio that wasn’t doing anyone any favors. So we added Phoenix Pavers in Townscape Slate to bring in some color variety, extended the patio so there’s actually room for a grill and chairs, added steppers leading to a future lawn chair and umbrella spot for tanning in that Arizona sun ☀️ and tied it all together with a clean paver border throughout.

This walkway is less than a year old. 😬

Those gaps, the missing sand, the loose pavers this is what happens when builders go with the cheapest option available. It looks fine at first. Then 6 months later it starts showing its true colors.

We see this all the time on new builds across the West Valley. And unfortunately fixing someone else’s shortcuts always costs more than doing it right the first time.
