🚨 SERVICE ALERT – BAYOU MARIA/WARDVILLE AREA 🚨

We were advised by the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office that our crew is not permitted to enter the Bayou Maria/Wardville area at this time due to an active law enforcement/SWAT operation. Traffic is currently being restricted, and for the safety of our employees, we must follow law enforcement’s instructions.

Unfortunately, this means we are unable to service customers in the affected area today.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. This situation is completely outside of our control, and the safety of our crew and the community comes first.

Please keep everyone involved, including the families in the area and our local law enforcement officers, in your prayers. 🙏🏼

🇺🇸 HAPPY LABOR DAY FROM WASTE TO GEAUX! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the hardworking men and women who keep our communities moving every single day. 💪

We’re especially thankful for our Waste To Geaux crew — the early mornings, long routes, Louisiana heat, heavy bags, muddy roads, breakdowns and everything in between. 🚛🗑️ Y’all work hard, and we appreciate everything you do!

And to our customers — thank YOU for supporting a locally owned and operated business and allowing us to serve your families and businesses week after week. ❤️

We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing and well-deserved Labor Day! 🇺🇸

🗑️🚛 TRASH TALK TUESDAY!

What does it REALLY take to keep a garbage truck on the road? 👀

Spoiler alert: A LOT. 😂💸

When you see one of our Waste To Geaux trucks rolling through your neighborhood, there’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes to keep it there.

⛽ Fuel — and LOTS of it
🛞 Tires that take a beating from long routes and back roads
🔧 Routine maintenance & oil changes
⚙️ Parts, repairs & unexpected breakdowns
🧼 Cleaning and upkeep
👨‍🔧 And plenty of time spent making sure everything is safe and ready for the next route!

Garbage trucks work HARD. They’re constantly stopping, starting, turning, loading and traveling miles and miles every week — and Louisiana roads definitely don’t make it any easier. 😂

Keeping our trucks running is one of the biggest parts of keeping Waste To Geaux running.

So the next time you see one of our trucks coming down your road, just know there’s a whole lot of work happening behind the scenes to get it there! 🚛💨

🚛💚 TRASH TALK TUESDAY! 💚🚛

Today’s reminder is a simple one — give ’em some room! 🗑️

Our drivers and helpers are constantly stopping, getting in and out of the truck, and working along busy roadways. A little extra space, patience, and a slower speed when passing can make a BIG difference in keeping our crew safe.

👀 See a garbage truck ahead?
➡️ Slow down
➡️ Give them room
➡️ Be patient
➡️ Give our guys a little wave instead of a little road rage 😂👋

Safe drivers. Safe crews. Clean community. 💚♻️

Thanks for always looking out for our Waste To Geaux crew!
