2024 is here this leaves just one year to replace that old central unit or mini split. As of now 410A will be phased out beginning 2025. The new refrigerant will have butane or propane in it. The equipment will have extra safeties added that’s going to drive the price of equipment up quite a bit. Labor prices will also go up due to the extra work needed to complete the installation.
