It's done..😁Craig wanted really bright......well there you go. My customer Craig wanted his garage as bright as we could get it. With LEDs of course. So we installed 14 8ft fixtures and a ceiling fan in the center. The lights run on 2 switches Incase you don't want blarring light. So the center row of two lights can be turned on separately and the other 12 lights run on a separate switch. I suggested outlets everywhere so he shouldn't need to run any extension cords in his garage. I think it turned out nice and look forward to working with Craig in the future projects at his business Or his house. Another satisfied customer. Electricians normally dont get too many tips...🤫😁

Good thing I'm not claustrophobic. Cause it was tight. Sometimes fishing wires from here to there. Looks so easy...

Good thing I'm not claustrophobic. Cause it was tight. Sometimes fishing wires from here to there. Looks so easy. Until you can't reach it. Then I have to crawl under the pipe on the left side of the furnace. Then stand up and squeeze around the back side of the furnace. Without being able to turn around. Then reach up into the gap between the gap between the supply and return duct work to reach the wire. Without being able to see up there.... Just Another exciting evening .

Yes we were at a camp.... unfortunately we were not camping. Sucks when there's a push to get a job done and it rains all day. Good thing I brought extra clothes. Cause it's not a good mix to be moving live lines when you're soaking wet. Luckily we got the job completed. Customer was very happy..😁 also driving over a hour with wet pants blows..

This is a prime example of what can happen when you don't have a actual electrician doing the electrical work. We are lucky this electrical fire was in a steel box. So the sparks were contained. What happened here is a improper connection. It worked for a few years after the kitchen was remodeled. Words of wisdom. Make sure your contractors actually use a qualified electrician. Most kitchen and bathroom contractors do everything themselves. Then you end up with this. That was a wire nut that melted to a tiny little blob of plastic.

We had a emergency service call on Sunday 1/2 of the house was out of power. They breaker box was only 4-5 years old. Problem was the last so called electrician. Only replaced the wire from the meter socket to the breaker box and not the service entrance wire coming out of the top of the meter socket to the power utility company's service drop.
Anyways the top wire was breaking down and letting water in. Which in turn followed the wire all the way to the main breaker which rotted away very prematurely.
Another example of why you shouldn't cut cost on electrical work


Prime example of going with the cheapest estimate to get the work done.
The cheapest estimate only did half of the electrical service. Instead of lasting 25-30 years. You only got maybe 5 years. Did they save?

This is a commercial 100 amp panel that was built into a concrete wall. We turned the old panel into a junction box. that was a temporary piece of plywood over it until we got the large custom piece of steel so nobody screwed into it. Options some couldn't even fathom.
It's hard to find these old replacement pushamatic bolt on breakers. So if you notice some maintenance man or not too smart electrician installed a circuit directly under the main feed lug. Which was protected by a 125 amp breaker. The problem with this is the wire was only rated for 20 amps. So this was a fire hazard time bomb. If something were to happen on this circuit. Say the cord of gets cut on anything on this circuit or an appliance went bad. The main breaker of 125amps probably wouldn't even trip out before the appliance or the cord caught fire. Good thing we got it all upgraded and fixed all of that nonsense.
This is a prime example of why you don't let a handyman or maintenance guy do any electrical work. It's not worth the few bucks you think you're saving. Risking a fire and all the peoples lives that worship at this church.

If you notice the wires going into the weatherhead at the top of the electrical service we're bare. Amazing this service didn't blow up from a little bit of wind. Also look inside the old meter socket you can see the wires were starting burn up almost like welding behind the meter. This customer was very lucky to get this service upgrade before a very bad situation was coming. They went from a 100amp to a 200amp service. I always put in the whole house surge protection with my 150amp and 200amp service upgrades. New grounding rods and water line ground,. All done to the NEC code. How it's suppose to be. Before and after.

1st low voltage ⚡️ walkway lighting job of the year. Of course it snowed on us. This is a better option if your solar walkway lights are not performing up to what you need. This setup comes with a timer with a photo eye. Automatically turns them all on at dark.
