This creek bank had experienced significant erosion, threatening the stability of the slope and putting more soil at risk with every heavy rain. To create a cost-effective solution, we repurposed broken concrete the homeowner already had on-site to rebuild and stabilize the bank while protecting it from further washout.

The project isn’t finished yet. The next phase will include installing rip rap stone along the upper portions of the bank and adding erosion-control plantings to help hold the soil in place, reduce future erosion, and create a more natural, finished appearance.

Sometimes the best projects are about solving the problem first and making it beautiful second. We’re excited to share the finished results once the final stone and landscaping are installed.
