The sky is the limit when it comes to construction! So often we are asked about outlets, light switches, etc! How do these get put into the walls?

We can cut them out right as the walls are being printed! Within minutes the walls have set enough we can easily cut the box out and it’s ready to roll!!

Art looks different to everyone. Here at Skyland 3D, we find 3DCP fascinating and reinvigorating, whether it’s home construction or city beautification!

Our own Kendra Bennett visited City of Arkansas City last week during the grand opening of their new splash pad and had the chance to see the placement of the new benches!

It was great to visit with City Manager, Randy Frazer and Communication Director, Shana Adkisson about all the positive feedback on the benches! These are being enjoyed as they should and bring an extra touch of art to the city!!

Earlier in the week, we had the pleasure of delivering the first print products from Skyland to the City of Arkansas City, Kansas!!

We are grateful for the opportunity to bring some new benches to life and put a little touch on city beautification!

We recently had the opportunity to 3D print a custom bench for an exciting community beautification project, and it was a great experience collaborating with local partners along the way.

We’re especially grateful for the chance to connect with members of the City of Arkansas City and Pioneer Technology Center during the printing process. Seeing this “I ❤️ AC” bench come to life has been incredibly rewarding. After a week of curing, it’s now ready for its finishing touch—a fresh coat of paint tomorrow. Stay tuned to the before and after pictures!

A special thank you to Kaw Nation Vice Chair Robert Allen for his support of Skyland 3D—and for helping ensure our COO’s painting skills remain top-notch. Of course, we must give credit to our friends at Somerset Community College, Eldon Whitis and Eric Wooldridge, PE, RA for establishing the design for printing!
