I’m terrible at sharing my plant lists, because it’s so dang tedious. I know it’s helpful though, and since I finished the jam jars and labels before midnight, I have a minute to share what I’m bringing to the market tomorrow. Kind of crazy to see it listed like this. Most quantities are 1-3 on average, which is why the variety is so great. Somehow, I have much, much more than this in my garden and more of nearly all varieties listed. Nearly everything is a perennial or tender perennial, with only a few houseplant worthy options (including my beloved scented geraniums). I’m limited to what fits in my car though, but my girls, Sisters Beads and I, are ready for the early morning!

My youngest and I just harvested a load of fresh figs, unable to resist eating several in the process. We rip them in half and eat the insides, then share with our dogs (our lab picks them off the tree himself), they taste sweetly of maple syrup. A dessert unto itself. I hear they’re delicious with goat cheese and honey, but we never get that far. Bringing all we can to the Port Orchard Farmers Market tomorrow along with so many incredible plants. This will be one of the last few days we’ll be there this season, so get ready to stock up!

With a little unexpected free time, I cut flowers for myself in my favorite little vase. Dahlias, cosmos, godetia, eucalyptus, scented geranium, lemon balm, and lemon mint. Nothing beats a fragrant bouquet.

I’m sorry to say we did not get a spot at the market this weekend, which was our last opportunity for the month of July. We won’t be back until August. I’ll be planting all the rest of the annuals I have and will bring beautiful perennials next time.
