OSHA’s new Safety Champions Program (SCP) may be one of the most practical new opportunities for organizations that want to strengthen their safety and health systems.

In my latest episode, I introduce the program and explain how it differs from SHARP and VPP.

Here’s the big idea:

SCP is a buildout path.
It helps employers work through 3 phases — Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced — using OSHA’s 7 core elements of a strong safety and health program. In the episode, I also talk about the role of the tracker and SGE support in helping organizations document progress along the way.
