Two new metal roofs went up in Ocean Shores this month — close enough to hear the same waves!
Living on the coast is a dream for many, but the PNW coast collects salt air, wind coming off the Pacific with nothing to slow it down, and month after month of sideways moisture. Ordinary roofs age in dog years out here.
That's exactly the assignment our PNW engineered metal shingles were built for. Each panel interlocks with its neighbors — so the wind that races across those dunes has no loose edge to grab — and the finish is made to shrug off the salt air that eats lesser materials. One home chose Dawn Grey, the neighbor went Charcoal Grey. Both are done thinking about their roofs. For good.
One honest thing we tell every coastal homeowner, because most companies won't: many roofing warranties are quietly reduced — or voided — within a mile of saltwater. It's in the fine print. Ours isn't like that: lifetime, non-prorated, and it transfers if you ever sell. Bring us any warranty you're comparing and we'll walk through the coastal clauses together, no pressure.
Beach life should be about the beach — not the roof
