i want to study what’s disappearing. in us. in me. and the planet we share. what’s happening to our hearts and what’s happening to species disappearing at accelerated rates?

the creative process often takes us in many meandering directions. every now and then, you stand back and take in where you’ve been led and see the through line.

inner alchemy print with i painted like 5 years ago? then pathos and poesis (words piece) came from finally allowing myself to nose dive into ecological psych, which turns out was what my art was trying to tell me all along. studying movement, energy, flow and feeling.

to *make with feeling*. sort of the whole point of being alive, right?

everywhere, transience is plunging into the depths of being. it is our task to imprint this temporary, perishable earth into ourselves so deeply, so painfully and passionately, that its essence can rise again, ‘invisibly’ inside us.

we are the bees of the invisible. we wildly collect the honey of the visible, to store it in the great golden hive of the invisible.

(rilke saying it better than i ever could)

painted during last years spring and sure enough, this spring is sharing the same sentiments.

petals, everywhere.
impermanence and bursts of beauty that almost as quickly fall or ride the wind somewhere else.
