We are SO excited to announce that Tarynn Noll has rejoined the Tuscarora Custom team!
Tarynn holds degrees from Penn State University, graduating in 2025 with a major in Agricultural Sciences with an emphasis on Landscape Design and a minor in Horticulture.
Aside from being our lead landscape designer, she also holds the title of Operations & Sales Enablement Coordinator.
It is exciting to have her at the helm as we continue to expand our business.
We are looking for a few more hands to join our team, too! Have a passion for masonry? Love working with your hands? Tuscarora Custom is looking for a laborer or two! We will teach you the trade… you just bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow in the oldest trade around!

Yesterday, I did something millions of moms are doing this time of year… I packed up my youngest son, drove him to college, helped him get settled…and then somehow drove home without him.

Beckett is officially a student at Temple University, where he’ll be pursuing Film Arts with dreams of becoming a screen director and writer. 🎬

And while I couldn’t be more excited for him and the life he’s beginning to build, any parent who has made that drive home knows there’s a whole lot wrapped up in it.

Pride. Excitement. Worry. Memories. And that strange realization that another chapter of your family’s life just ended while a brand-new one began.

Before I was the owner of Tuscarora Custom, I was a mom.

And I still am.

That’s part of why the words “woman owned, family fueled” mean so much to me. They aren’t just something we put on our website.

Tuscarora is our family.

It’s Brandon leading our work in the field. It’s our son Trevor learning a trade and working alongside his dad. It’s conversations about jobs around the dinner table. It’s early mornings, long days, big decisions, celebrations, frustrations, and building something together that we hope lasts long beyond us.

Yes, we build with stone, brick, concrete and mortar.

But I think we understand better than most that a home is so much more than what it’s built from.

It’s where you raised the kids who are suddenly leaving for college.

It’s the patio where everyone gathers when they come back.

It’s the fireplace they’ll sit around at the holidays.

It’s the backyard where someday there may be grandchildren running around.

And sometimes, when one chapter of life changes, you start looking at your home a little differently too.

Maybe the play area becomes the outdoor kitchen you’ve always wanted. Maybe it’s finally time for that patio, fireplace, garden wall or outdoor living space you’ve talked about for years. Maybe you’re simply ready to create a home that fits this next chapter of your life.

Whatever that next chapter looks like, we’d be honored to help you build a little piece of it.

Catching up with Trevor Noll, 2024 Pottsgrove High School graduate…

Tell us about your experience, so far, in learning the masonry trade?
I actually started helping my Dad well before I graduated high school. I wasn’t sure what to expect and if I’d really like it. I have learned so much, though, and I love how I get to take raw materials and turn them into something beautiful that people can enjoy for years.

What do you think makes you so successful as you enter your third year in the industry?
I pay attention. I ask questions. I watch how my dad works and mirror him. I take classes and earn different certifications. There is so much to masonry. I hope to be a master someday. I can’t easily be replaced by a robot and that’s appealing to me.

What’s your least favorite part of your day?
Ha! Downpours… or extremely hot days. It takes some getting used to. I drink over a gallon of water a day, keep up on my electrolytes, and try to take lunch when it’s raining!

Tuscarora Custom is always looking for additional hands to join the organization. What are you looking for in your next coworker?
Good question. I want a coworker who is eager to learn, but has experience in construction. They have to work safely, fast, and be reliable. Our clients expect excellence from us. I want to work with people who pride themselves on delivering just that. Oh! It would also be nice to have someone work alongside me who loves to talk about sports!

Every landmark begins with a single stone laid with purpose.

There are projects… and then there are the ones you’ve dreamed about being part of your entire career.

We can’t share all the details just yet, but we are incredibly honored to have been selected as the stonemasons for what will become one of the most beautiful public spaces in our region.

These sample panels that we built for our new clients represent far more than stone and mortar. They represent years of refining our craft, countless hours learning from those who came before us, and a belief that masonry isn’t just construction… it’s creating something that should outlive us.

To everyone who supports Tuscarora Custom… from our clients who trust us with their homes to our friends and family who cheer us on - Thank You! Opportunities like this are built one project, one relationship, and one satisfied customer at a time.

The stucco on this chimney was not even 10 years old. Improper preparation, skipping steps, poor mix/curing, and a lack of knowledge can contribute to premature stucco delamination.
Our team swooped in, removed all the stucco, and replaced it using proper techniques. The results are beautiful!
