Tureau's Grocery in 1984 (the old store)

In 1954, Louis Tureau and his wife Agnes opened up a small wooden country store on the outskirts of Ascension Parish at the Lake. When the Tureau's son, Dale, took over the business in 1983, he and his wife, Judy, expanded the old country store and added a deli and meat market. Now the next generation of the Tureau family runs the store. It's located at 44463 Hwy 431, St. Amant, LA.
