Get your chimney swept before the colder weather sweeps in so you’re ready for those cosy nights by the fire or stove.

HETAS in partnership with Fire Kills is encouraging people to sweep their chimneys and prevent fires as part of Chimney Fire Safety Week.

You should have your chimney swept at least once a year depending on the appliance and the fuel being used.

We also recommend you install smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms and test them at least once a month to make sure they work.

This chimney was completely rebuilt from the roofline up after age and weather caused deterioration. The damaged masonry was removed down to a solid base, then rebuilt brick by brick to ensure strength, safety, and long-term durability.
