✨Cocoa Butter Cashmere-This warm and cozy fragrance creates the perfect comforting ambiance anytime of the year. The complexity of warm spices, rich cocoa butter, olive wood and a touch of coconut sweetness combines to create a truly relaxing fragrance.

Happy Monday! I’m back in the studio today pouring restocks and I wanted to share some exciting news! These cute little square melts is how our wax will be packaged moving forward! Each package of melts comes with 9 perfectly portioned wax melts. All you need is one little cube to pop into your melter and you’re good for hours of amazing scent! Each pack is $6 for nine of our dye free and phthalate free melts. Wax shots and clamshells are officially retired (although they are still available on the site until my existing inventory is depleted), and moving forward all restocks will be the new square melt shape/size. Stay tuned for our announcement later this week for when the restocks will be live on the website!

Oh hey friends! Remember yesterday when I announced that I was changing Modern Wax Co to Modern Earth Apothecary?? Yeah well- ran into a little problem with that, so I am going with Ritual Scent Studio instead! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

As I was thinking about names for this biz (side note- it is seriously SO hard to find names that are available on Instagram, Etsy, and the domain is available without a funky ending or spelling!) I was thinking about how funny we can be with our scents. For example- my home MUST start smelling like pumpkin pie on Sept 1st or it’s just not fall! Or like in the summer- I love fruity smells to dominate. Not only am I picky about what scents I melt when, but I’m also picky in the HOW my home is scented (wax versus candles versus a diffuser), WHICH wax melters I use in which room, and WHERE they are placed (much to my husband’s constant confusion). I realized that I very much have a ritual when it comes to the scent of my home- and I know many of you do too!

So with that- I give to you...Ritual Scent Studio. I very much hope to become a part of YOUR daily ritual of scenting your home (and body too)!

My normal wax melter needs a lightbulb, so I had to bust out the old school tea light burner today. I have to say- I’m not hating it! The scent is stronger, but the wax doesn’t last as long as it does in a warmer. BUT- it also takes less wax. One cube and you’re good! I’m melting cappuccino today to give my home that delicious coffee shop aroma. What are you melting today??
