Started on a job to remodel a older building and my customer wanted a wall removed to make waiting area larger. Upon further inspection I found it to be load bearing. Once I got the drywall removed i found this BS left from whoever done work years before. You can't just stack 2x4's in the wall. Then I had to build a temporary wall to support the floor trusses. Then install a laminated beam to support the weight of the building above. It makes me feel great inside knowing that it's installed the proper way!
